The world’s largest youth football tournament, the Norway Cup 2025, is set to take place in Oslo, Norway, from July 26 to August 2, featuring over 2,000 teams from 30+ countries. This year, Pakistan will once again be represented by its inspiring street child football team, Muslim Hands FC, which has already carved out a name for itself on the international stage.
Comprised of underprivileged and street-connected children from across Pakistan, the team trains under Muslim Hands’ renowned “Maidan” program—an initiative that uses football not just as a sport, but as a tool for personal development, education, and empowerment. The program aims to build a brighter, safer future for these children while nurturing their talents and confidence.
Pakistan’s team has delivered impressive performances in recent years, including winning silver in 2023 and securing 4th place in 2024. Currently, the players are undergoing intensive training at the Islamabad Sports Complex, preparing to make their country proud once again at the Norway Cup.
