HYDERABAD – In 15 Sindh districts, voting for the local government elections began on Sunday
The voting began at 8 in the morning and would continue uninterrupted until 5 in the evening. The Chairman, Vice Chairman, Member District Council, and General Members of Local Bodies are up for election.
In the region’s 24 union councils, at least 109,687 registered voters will exercise their right to vote Polling for local government elections underway in 15 districts of Sindh.
In Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Umarkot, Tharparkar, Jamshoro, Badin, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Larkana, Qamber Shahdadkot, Sukkur, Khairpur, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Sanghar, there are more than 80 polling places, including separate ones for men and women.
At each polling place, robust security measures have been implemented.
