Lahore: The Vintage and Classic Car Rally in Pakistan that started from Karachi reached Peshawar, the participants of the rally were warmly welcomed in the historic Bala Hesar Fort.
A large number of vintage car enthusiasts participated in the rally, the rally comprising of Vintage and Classic Car Rally will visit different areas of Peshawar city and will conclude on November 19 at Services Club.
The rally includes vehicles from 1930 to 1970 including Mercedes, Ford, Chevrolet, Buick, Mini and Volkswagen. Organizers and car honorees expressed special thanks to Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North for the warm welcome and vehicle display.

The vintage and classic car rally started from Karachi on November 12 and has reached Peshawar via Lahore and Islamabad.
It may be noted that the 8th Thal Jeep Rally was organized in Tehsil Chaubara, the 4-day events which started from November 9 ended on November 12.
Regazar Rakh Khairewala of Tehsil Chobara was fixed as the mid-point of the 200 km long trek. Raanais were also scattered with colorful events in Thal Cultural Mela.
Women also participated in the rally, dirt bike and quad bike riders also participated in the desert rally, the 200 km long distance was covered in one and a half hours in the Thal Desert Rally.
Registration, medical check-up and inspection of the vehicles of Thal Desert Rally participants were done on November 9, jhumar, kabaddi, cultural show and fort stall were also installed in Thal Desert Rally, Puppet Show, Magic Show, Historical dramas, Sufi Kalam, Qawwali were also presented.

Police and other institutions were given responsibility for the security of Thal Desert Rally participants, Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Aamir Mir, Provincial Advisor Sports Wahab Riaz, Secretary Information, Tourism, DG Sports and related officials attended the meeting while Commissioner of Dera Ghazi Khan, RPO attended the meeting through video link.
