The scope of the Prime Minister’s Youth Loan Scheme has been further expanded, allowing young people to access loans not only for business purposes but also for purchasing laptops.
This announcement was made by the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Youth Affairs, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan. According to Rana Mashhood, the State Bank has issued a formal notification in this regard. Loans for laptops will only be available to students aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in institutions recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Express News
He further shared that financial assistance will also be provided to young individuals seeking employment abroad. Under this scheme, those planning to go overseas will be eligible for loans of up to 10 lakh rupees, which can be used for training, visa fees, and travel expenses.

Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan stated that the government is committed to providing maximum opportunities to the youth of the country. under the Prime Minister’s Youth Loan Scheme, loans exceeding 186 billion rupees have already been disbursed.
