LAHORE – Officials from the Pakistani police are looking into a burglary that took place in Mohammad Hafeez’s home in Lahore when he and his wife were not present.
The robbers allegedly broke into Hafeez’s home during the night between Sunday and Monday, when he was working on the current eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL8).
The cricketer’s wife was also absent because she was working for herself in Islamabad. On the complaint of Hafeez’s uncle, a robbery case has been filed against unidentified robbers at the Defence Police Station. Foreign money worth millions was stolen from Mohammad Hafeez’s Lahore home.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the robbers took $20,000, £4,000, €3,000, and AED5,000 with them.
