ISLAMABAD: Before the arrival of Chinese Vice Prime Minister Islamabad was decorated to welcome the Chinese Vice Prime Minister with Chinese flags and Pakistan-China posters, signboards and banners.
During his visit from July 30 to August 1, Li Fung will participate in the 10th anniversary celebrations of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). In honor of the Chinese guest, Islamabad’s streets and intersections have been decorated with signboards and banners that read “Long Live Pakistan-China Friendship”, 10th Anniversary of CPEC, From CPEC Vision to Reality. Chinese greetings are also included.
During his visit, he will meet Pakistani President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He will also be the chief guest at CPEC’s 10th anniversary celebration.

Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng has played a prominent role in China’s international economic relations and the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, of which CPEC is a key project. As the Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (2017-23), he played an important role in the planning and implementation of several CPEC projects in Pakistan.
