
Rawalpindi: NADRA and passport office officials presented their report in court about Arshad Khan Chaiwala’s petition against his blocked ID card and passport.

Justice Jawad Hassan of Rawalpindi High Court heard the petition. Officials told the court they blocked Arshad’s ID and passport based on verified intelligence reports, saying he’s Afghan National and must be sent back under government policy.
Arshad’s lawyer asked the court for more time to respond to the report. The court accepted this request and postponed the hearing to April 22.
In his petition, Arshad said it’s unfair to ask for residence proof from before 1978. He became famous for his eye color through his Islamabad tea stall.”
