In the tournament’s most dramatic finish, Afghanistan held their nerve to beat UAE by 4 runs. With UAE needing five runs off the last three balls, Fareed Ahmad delivered a composed death-bowling performance to clinch the win. .
Final (7 September): Pakistan vs Afghanistan
Pakistan lifted the trophy emphatically, defeating Afghanistan by 75 runs. Chasing 142, Afghanistan collapsed to 66, dismantled by Mohammad Nawaz’s 5-for (including a hat-trick). It was a match-winning masterclass and a memorable finale to the series. Nawaz was rightly adjudged Player of the Series .
