Pakistan’s renowned TikToker, Amsha Rahman, has finally broken her silence regarding the inappropriate videos of her that were leaked last year. After several months of staying quiet, Amsha has now issued a detailed statement addressing the scandal.
Amsha Rahman, a well-known social media star and TikToker, faced a major controversy last year when some of her private videos went viral. Following the scandal, Amsha had deactivated her social media accounts.
The inappropriate videos surfaced in November last year, and Amsha has now come forward to share her side of the story. She claims that the videos attributed to her are fake and were circulated with the intent to defame her.
Breaking her silence on the video leak scandal, Amsha also informed her fans about the difficulties she faced as a result of the incident. She said, “I saw these videos on the internet, and they completely destroyed my life. I couldn’t go to university, I couldn’t face people, and I even received death threats.”
Amsha further added, “People on social media think it’s fun to create and share videos of others, but they forget the impact it can have on someone’s life.”
She explained, “I could have responded to this scandal by posting a video on my account, but I decided to take legal action instead. Our national agency, the FIA, is very competent. They have already arrested the culprit behind the creation and circulation of these videos, and the person is now in custody.”
It is worth noting that before deactivating her account, Amsha Rahman had amassed over 200,000 followers on TikTok.
Amsha’s statement has shed light on the serious consequences of online harassment and the misuse of social media. Her decision to pursue legal action highlights the importance of holding individuals accountable for such malicious acts.
