The Lahore High Court has asked Imran Khan to clarify the difference between the signature of the affidavit and the power of attorney on the petition of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest against the Election Commission’s decision and the application for protective security in the case of interference in the Kar Sarkar. Ordered to appear on Monday while the second application was dismissed for non-compliance.
Imran Khan approached the Lahore High Court for protective bail after the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad denied him interim bail yesterday.
During the hearing, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh of Lahore High Court remarked that Imran Khan should be brought on a stretcher or in an ambulance but there will be no bail without presenting him. If given, the hearing will be adjourned for the morning.
Later, the Lahore High Court adjourned the hearing until this morning. At the beginning of the hearing, Imran Khan’s lawyers appeared before Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh. 2 different aspects are being considered.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh asked Advocate Azhar Siddique that ‘you want time?’
Advocate Azhar Siddique replied that ‘Yes, give some time, consultation with doctors is going on, the party has security concerns’.
On the request of Imran Khan’s lawyer, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till 12:30.
Advocate Azhar Siddique assured the court that ‘every effort is being made to reach Imran Khan somehow within 2 hours’.
When the hearing resumed at 12:30, Imran Khan’s lawyer Ghulam Abbas Niswana said, “The consultation is ongoing, we need one more hour.”
The court inquired that ‘will Imran Khan appear now?’, in response, Imran Khan’s lawyer said that ‘this consultation is ongoing’.
Later, the Lahore High Court adjourned the proceedings on the security bail of Imran Khan till 2 pm.

Imran Khan’s second security bail application rejected
The Lahore High Court dismissed the petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for non-compliance in another case filed in Islamabad.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqer Najafi heard PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s application for protective bail in a case registered at Thana Sing Jani, Islamabad.
Justice Ali Baqir Najafi asked Imran Khan’s lawyer that you are seeking protective bail in the case filed in Islamabad but where are the petitioners, to which Imran Khan’s lawyer Azhar Siddique said that Imran Khan has health problems.
Imran Khan’s lawyer Azhar Siddique read the medical reports of Imran Khan and said that the doctor has told Imran Khan to rest for three weeks, on which the court said that nowhere in the medical report is it written that Imran Khan cannot walk.
The lawyer said that I have had a detailed discussion with the doctors, according to them, Imran Khan is not walking well. There are also problems.
Lawyer Azhar Siddique told the court that there has been a problem with the Taliban recently and the party leadership is not ready to present Imran Khan as he faces security threats.

Earlier on February 10, the court had rejected Imran Khan’s request for exemption from attendance on medical grounds.
The court ordered Imran Khan to ensure his attendance at the next hearing and said that if Imran Khan appears, if not, he will order bail before arrest. Later, the hearing of the case was postponed till February 15 .
It should be noted that a case was registered against Imran Khan in Sangjani police station under the provisions of terrorism.
Over 100 PTI workers, including former prime minister Asad Umar and Ali Nawaz, were booked for terrorism for protesting against the disqualification of PTI chairman Imran Khan.
