Islamabad: A petition was filed in the Supreme Court to remove President Arif Alvi from office.
The citizen Chaudhry Muhammad Imtiaz has submitted the petition, and President Arif Alvi has joined as a party.
According to the petition, Arif Alvi is ineligible for the position of President, and the Supreme Court should immediately remove him from office.
The resident says that the President is connected to an ideological group and is one-sided. Furthermore, he declined to sign the Islamabad Local Government Act.
According to the petition, the president should be removed because his refusal to carry out his constitutional responsibilities demonstrates that he is unfit for office.
