In response to allegations of cheating, a Kolkata court has issued an arrest order for Indian actress Zareen Khan.
Indian media reports, Zareen Khan was the subject of numerous complaints in Kolkata, and the case’s investigating officer filed a charge sheet against the actress in the city’s Sealdah Court.
After accusations were made against Zareen Khan by an event management business for failing to perform at 6 events of a puja in Kolkata, the case against her was brought in 2018.
The actress failed not show up despite the court’s numerous notices, therefore an arrest warrant for her was issued.
Arrest warrant issued for Indian actress Zareen Khan
When asked about the arrest warrant by the Indian media, Indian actress Zareen Khan responded, “I feel there is no reality in this news. I am also astonished and, after speaking with him, am in touch with my counsel in this respect. There will only be one matter known.
Zareen Khan was supposed to sing at the Durga Puja festival in Kolkata in 2018, but she did not show up despite the organizers’ repeated attempts to get her there.

According to the authorities, the organizers had formally accused the Bollywood actress and her manager of cheating.
Zareen Khan appeared for questioning at that time, she also claimed that the organizers had misrepresented, she also alleged that she was told by the organizers that heavyweight ministers including the Chief Minister of Bengal would participate in the event, however. The actress’ team later found out that it was a small-scale event in North Kolkata.

Indian actress Zareen Khan had also said that there was a miscommunication regarding flight tickets and other accommodation after which she had to leave the show. According to the authorities, the organizers had formally accused the Bollywood actress and her manager of cheating.
Indian actress Zareen Khan claimed that the event’s organizers had misrepresented the event and that they had told her that important ministers, including the Chief Minister of Bengal, would attend when she arrived for questioning at that time. Later, the actress’ entourage was informed that a small gathering had taken place in North Kolkata.
Zareen Khan also claimed that she had to drop out of the program due to confusion over her travel tickets and other accommodations.
According to police sources, Zareen Khan also filed a lawsuit in the district court against the show’s organizers.
A charge sheet was issued against Indian actress Zareen Khan and her manager following the investigation; the manager appeared in court and requested bail, but the actress failed to do either.
