At Islamabad International Airport (IIA), the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) put the facility known as “Two common-use self service kiosks (CUSS)” into operation on Friday to speed up the check-in process for domestic flights and improve operational efficiency.
With the assistance of Pakistan International Airline (PIA), the initiative had been taken.
Self-check-in is also known as kiosk check-in, and passengers can use kiosks to self-check in at a predetermined time before boarding. Domestic travellers now have access to’self check-in’ at Islamabad Airport.
The long lines at the airline counters will be cut down by using this facility; eventually, efficiency will rise, which will aid in cost reduction.
Only passengers without baggage can use the kiosks for domestic departures.
