Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan released the data of registered voters for the elections February 8, 2024.
According to the Election Commission, the total number of registered voters in pakistan is 12 crore 85 lakh 85 thousand 760, the total number of male voters is 6 crore 92 lakh 63 thousand 704, while the number of female voters is 5 crore 93 lakh 22 thousand 56.
According to the declaration, the proportion of male voters is 53.87 percent while the representation of female voters is 46.13 percent,

Islamabad
The total number of voters in Islamabad is 1 million 83 thousand 29.
Balochistan
There are a total of 53 lakh 71 thousand 947 registered voters in Balochistan, the number of female voters in Balochistan is 23 lakh 55 thousand 783 while the number of male voters is 3 million 16 thousand 164.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The total number of voters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 2 crore 19 lakh 28 thousand 119, the number of registered male voters in KPK is 1 crore 19 lakh 44 thousand 397 while the number of female voters is 99 lakh 83 thousand 722.
Sindh
The total number of voters in Sindh is 2 crore 69 lakh 94 thousand 769, the number of registered male voters in Sindh is 1 crore 46 lakh 12 thousand 655 while 1 crore 23 lakh 82 thousand 114 female voters.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has released the schedule of general elections, according to which the general elections will be held across the country on February 8, 2024.
According to The Election Commission, the returning officers will issue notices on December 19, after which candidates will be able to submit their nomination papers from December 20 to 22 and the list of candidates will be released by December 23.
It was informed in this regard that from January 1 to December 24 to December 30, the returning officers will scrutinize the nomination papers and on January 3, 2024, the appeals will be heard on the acceptance and rejection of the papers.
According to the announcement, the Election Commission will be the last day for the decisions of the Appellate Authority on appeals on January 10, 2024 and the revised list of candidates will be issued on January 11, 2024.
The statement said that January 12, 2024 will be the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers and election symbols will be allotted to candidates on January 13, 2024, after which general elections will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
The same schedule will be applicable for reserved seats for women and minorities as well as provincial seats of all four provinces.
Election Commission of Pakistan also released the training schedule of returning officers.
The Election Commission, the training process of returning officers is being restored in the light of the Supreme Court’s orders issued on 15 December 2023.
He said that the training of returning officers will be held on 17 and 18 December 2023 while the training of district returning officers will be held on 19 December 2023.
Election Commission stopped the training of District Returning Officers and Returning Officers on the orders of the Lahore High Court due to which the holding of elections on February 8 was in danger.
