The Kuwait Ministry of Interior is currently considering the possibility of opening Kuwait’s doors to Article 22 visa (Family Visa or dependent) applicants by early 2024.
According to the International News Agency report, the sources immediately clarified that this would only be for certain categories of immigrants such as doctors, university and applied education professors, counselors and others, determined based on several factors. However, sources are yet to elaborate on the factors involved.
The report revealed that the ministry is soon planning to form a committee that will determine the conditions for the migrant category.
The committee will allow his family to come to the country in accordance with the demographic strategy implemented under the leadership and supervision of Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al Khalid Al Sabah.

Sources said that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have a single Gulf visa mechanism that imposes a fine of 100 dinars per day for any visitor for the duration of their stay in the country, in addition to health insurance and hotel reservation provisions. Who does not leave the country when the visa expires.
