Navjot Singh Sidhu was released from jail two months before completing his sentence

Navjot Singh Sidhu, a former cricketer and leader of the Congress party in Punjab, Navjot Singh Sidhu was released from Patiala jail.

Last year, the Indian High Court condemned Sidhu to one year in prison in a 34-year-old mishap case in which one individual passed on.

Sidhu was held in Patiala jail for ten months, but he was freed today, two months before his sentence expired.

According to officials at the jail, Sidhuki was let out of the facility two months ago due to his good behavior.

Congress members beat dust on the leader outside the jail when he was released.
