Quetta police reaches Lahore to arrest Imran Khan

Lahore _ In accordance with a court order, a Quetta-based police team arrived in Lahore on Friday to make an arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

A five-part group drove by SP Examinations Nadeem, DSP Abdul Sattar, a sub-reviewer, and two different officials will visit Zaman Park with the help of the nearby police, revealed Geo News.

A non-bailable arrest warrant for the former prime minister was issued on Thursday by a Quetta court in a case brought against him under multiple sections of the Pakistan.

The court ordered that the authorities bring the PTI head to court. An FIR was filed against Khan at a Quetta police station for remarks he made in a speech on Sunday about state institutions and their employees Quetta police reaches Lahore to arrest Imran Khan.

Abdul Khalil Kakar had filed a complaint against Imran Khan at the Bijli Road Police Station. Sections 153A, 124A, and 505 of the PPC as well as Section 20 of the PECA were included in the FIR.

The PTI chief’s statement was alleged in the complaint to be an attempt to disrupt public order, according to the complaint.

Following the arrival of a team of Islamabad police at the PTI chief’s Zaman Park residence to make an arrest in the Toshakhana case, the chief had previously criticized the institutions of the state.
