Karachi: former Indian captain Ravi Shastri predicted the two teams playing in the Champions Trophy 2025 final.
Interview in the ICC Review, Ravi Shastri predicted the final of the Champions Trophy 2025 could be played between India and Australia.
He added that India and Australia have always performed well in major events, so if we look at the past, these two teams can reach the final.
Regarding the semi-finals, Shastri said that the teams of South Africa and England could compete. He ignored Pakistan in his list of finals and semi-finals.
A few days ago, former Australian captain Ricky Ponting also excluded Pakistan from the two finalist teams of the Champions Trophy. He had said that India and Australia could be the two finalist teams of the event.
Ricky Ponting said that both the teams have quality players, the recent history of these teams and their performance in ICC events makes everything clear.
