The farewell ceremony of former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi elder daughter Aqsa took place in Karachi on Friday night, the pictures of which were released by Shahid Afridi on Twitter.
Shahid Afridi’s elder daughter Aqsa Afridi got married to Naseer in a grand ceremony at a local hall in Karachi.
Aqsa Afridi’s departure was seen by Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, Imamul Haq, Shan Masood, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Hasan Ali, Aamir Jamal, and Azam Khan.

Former cricketers Waqar Younis, Muhammad Akram, Arshad Khan, and Moin Khan also took part.
While the other daughter, Ansha, and Shaheen Afridi, were also wedded and will have their leaving ceremony this year, Aqsa and Naseer were wed in December of last year.

Shahid Afridi shared pictures of his daughter’s departure on Twitter and wrote, ‘My dear daughter, it still seems like yesterday, when I held you in my arms, that day I promised myself that I would be with you. I will never leave’.
“Though you are about to start a new chapter in your life, you will always be in my heart because I am the man who loved you first,” the former captain wrote.
Shahid Khan Afridi said in a message for his daughter and son-in-law, ‘May Allah keep you both safe and give you a chance to live a beautiful life together. Amen’.
