Pakistan football team Face Saudi Arabia for the first time today’s FIFA World Cup Qualifier Round. The match at Al-Hassa’s Prince Abdullah Bin Jalavi Stadium starts at 9:30 p.m.
This will be a historic day for Pakistani football as the Pakistan team lock horns with Saudi Arabia in a qualifying match of second round of FIFA world cup. Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Tajikistan make up group g of world cup qualifier round 2.
For the first time since it was established, Pakistan has advanced to qualifiers’ second round of FIFA World Cup Qualifier AFC. The initial game sees South Africa play against the world’s number 57 side Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan recorded a win against Cambodia at this stage. For about one week, the national team was practicing extensively in Saudi Arabia and it comprised of about 7 players based in other countries except for captain Isa Suleiman who is not available because of an injury.
