Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has said after his separation from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) that he has agreed to walk together with Jahangir Tareen.

 

Talking to the media after meeting Jahangir Tareen in Lahore, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that it has been decided between us and Jahangir Tareen that we will walk together and the work for the new party is going on.

He said that those PTI members who are aspiring to get leadership positions in other parties are going to get good news.

Asked about the plan to form and identify the new group of two more leaders who broke away from PTI, Hashim Dogar and Murad Ras, he said that they are our own people, there will be no separate group and we all together. Will move forward.

Former provincial minister Nauman Langriyal, who was with Tanveer Ilyas, said that we will also welcome those who are ready to leave PTI and their narrative.

It should be noted that this statement by the former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Tanveer Ilyas has come after reports that Jahangir Tareen’s group is in contact with several leaders who have split from the PTI.

A large number of PTI members, including key leaders, have announced to quit the party after the May 9 incidents, while a crackdown was also carried out in this regard.
