KARACHI: A WhatsApp chatbot has been launched by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in an effort to make it simpler for passengers to confirm their seats and tickets online. The national flag carrier claims that passengers can use the chatbot to get advice about their seats and tickets before their flight.
In addition, passengers can use WhatsApp to check their flight times and schedule. Passengers on PIA can now use the WhatsApp chatbot to purchase tickets.

Unmute The tweet that was posted on the official PIA handle read, “PIA is stepping ahead further for customer support services by introducing another value-added service WhatsApp chatbot.”
It is pertinent to note that in the past, passengers accessed these services by visiting offices or calling a helpline.
