QUETTA – In the southwestern part of the country, a bomb exploded on a convoy belonging to Sardar Khan Rind, a provincial lawmaker for the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf. This was one of several attacks in a sparsely populated area that resulted in the deaths of two people.
