After arriving at a New York courthouse, former US President Donald Trump was formally arrested. He’ll be the first former US president to be charged with a crime.
On Tuesday, Trump, the front-runner for the Republican nomination in 2024, went into a Manhattan courtroom to be officially charged, while his supporters rallied outside in a loud way.
After arriving at the courthouse in a motorcade from his Trump Tower apartment in New York, the 76-year-old Trump waved to the audience outside. He was wearing a crimson tie and a dark blue suit.
