Gold hits all-time high of Rs214,500 per tola in Pakistan

Due to a downward trend in the rupee and an upward trend in the precious yellow metal on global markets, gold reached a record high on Tuesday of Rs214,500 per tola (11.66 grams).

 

The All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) released data indicating that the price of 24 carat gold increased by Rs5,000 per tola and Rs4,288 per 10 grams to Rs214,500 and Rs183,900, respectively.
