A 35-year-old Indian woman Anju reached Upper Dir district Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s  to spend time with her 29-year-old Facebook friend Nasrullah.

Report in Dawn newspaper, official sources revealed that the woman, who hails from Kailur in Uttar Pradesh, has all the required travel documents to visit her friend Nasrullah’s village Kalshu in Upper Dir district.

Anju, who was born on December 25, 1988, said in a brief chat with local journalists in Upper Deir Khas on Sunday that she loves Nasrullah.

The Indian woman said that they first met on the social networking website Facebook and their friendship turned into deep love after which she decided to leave her country and come to Pakistan. She said that she applied for a visit visa and luckily she reached her destination.

Indian woman Anju reached Upper Dir Both Anju and Nasrallah told the police that they loved each other and planned to get married, official sources said.

This is the woman’s first visit to Pakistan, she arrived in Rawalpindi from where Nasrullah brought her to Upper Dir on July 22.

Nasrullah is a permanent resident of this village and has done his B.Sc from Government College.

Nasrullah has four brothers named Sharifullah, Shakirullah, Rahatullah and Hameedullah, all four of whom are engaged in making traditional Deer Shaves at their home.

official document of the Ministry of Home Affairs sent to the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi, the Chancery was informed that it has been decided to grant a 30-day visa to Anju, an Indian woman, which is valid only for Upper Dir.

A senior police official, the Indian woman’s travel documents are valid and she has been allowed to stay with Nasrullah.

District Police Officer Upper Dir Mushtaq Khan told reporters that the woman’s visa is valid and she can stay here for a month.

The police officer said that after the news of the Indian woman Anju reached Upper Dir went viral on social media, several journalists reached Nasrallah’s house but were told that the woman was not there.

The Christian Indian woman is said to be divorced.
