Maryam Nawaz is most likely to contest for four Punjab Assembly seats

LAHORE – PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz made the decision on Thursday to run in four election for the Punjab Assembly.

 

According to reports in the media, Maryam has submitted nomination papers for the upcoming provincial elections from four constituencies, including one from Gujranwala and three from Lahore.

Maryam submitted nomination papers for the PP-149, PP-173, and PP-158 Lahore constituencies. She has also submitted her application for one Gujranwala constituency, PP-63, in addition to Lahore.

However, Maryam’s spokesperson, Zeeshan Malik, clarified that Maryam had not yet decided from which of the four constituencies she would run for office.

Hamza Shehbaz, the former chief minister of Punjab, also submitted nomination papers for PP-146, PP-147, and PP-163 constituencies.

In addition, Attaullah Tarar, the aide to the prime minister, submitted his documents to PP-158 and PP-163 (PP-158 is the one from which Maryam submitted her documents, while PP-163 is the one from which Hamza intends to run for office) Maryam Nawaz is most likely to contest for four Punjab Assembly seats.
