ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Bar Council today announced a nationwide strike.
Vice Chairman Pakistan Bar Council Haroon Rasheed said that the strike has been announced after consultation with all Bar Councils of the country.
He said that the 8-member bench has been formed in haste and a bench has been formed related to a law which has not even been passed yet.
Senior leaders of the Pakistan Bar Council have condemned as regrettable the move to set up a unilateral and controversial bench before the Supreme Court Procedure and Practice Bill, 2023 comes into force.
