Parvez Elahi was arrested from Lahore transferred to Attock Jail

Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, who was arrested from Lahore, has been transferred to Attock Jail.

Yesterday, President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi was arrested from Lahore transferred to Attock Jail.

Parvez Elahi had left for home from Lahore High Court in the escort of Lahore Police, but near Zahoor Elahi House, Islamabad police stopped Parvez Elahi’s car, took him out of the car and put him in his car with a baton.

Earlier, the Lahore High Court had ordered the release of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi. The court had said in a written order that Parvez Elahi will not be arrested by NAB or any authority and agency while Parvez Elahi will not be detained under any law.

According to the sources of Islamabad Police, Parvez Elahi was arrested under 3 MPO.

However, according to the sources, the former Chief Minister of Punjab, Parvaiz Elahi, who was arrested from Lahore, has been transferred to Attock Jail under tight security.

Sources said that Parvez Elahi will be detained in Adiala Jail for 15 days under 3 MPO.
