Tosha Khana records from 1947 to 2001 must be produced, by a Lahore High Court order.

The Lahore High Court ordered the government to present the records of Tosha Khana records from 1947 to 2001.

 

The government’s appeal against the decision to release records regarding Tosha Khana gifts from 1990 to 2001 was heard by a two-member bench headed by Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan of the Lahore High Court.

While the court stated that the initial order should be followed, Deputy Attorney General Nasr Ahmad stated that the records of the Tosha Khana from 1947 to 1990 are not available.

These are the state’s assets. It is disappointing to learn that no record exists. The absence of a record is incomprehensible. In addition, the Deputy Attorney General expressed surprise.
