Lahore: After electricity and petrol, the government has increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas LPG price increased Rs 39 per kg, which will be effective from September 1, 2023.

Notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the increase in LPG prices has been made for both producers and consumers alike.

The producer price of LPG was 135,999 rupees per ton in August, which will increase by 38,970 rupees per ton to 1,98,826 rupees per ton in September.

In August, the producer price was Rs.135.99 per kg, which has increased to Rs.198.83 per kg after an increase of Rs.38.97, while the 11 kg cylinder, which was available for Rs.1604 in August, will cost Rs.2346 in September, after increasing by Rs.459.

Similarly, the consumer price of LPG was 2 lakh 1 thousand 155 rupees per ton in August, which increased by 38 thousand 970 rupees to 2 lakh 40 thousand 126 rupees per ton.

The price of LPG per kg for domestic consumers will be Rs 240, which was Rs 202 per kg in August 2023, while the new price of a domestic cylinder will be Rs 2,833, which was Rs 2,373 before this increase.
