By announcing on Monday that the federal government will provide Motorcycle and rickshaw drivers with subsidized petrol, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif made a significant contribution to the alleviation of hardship for those with lower and middle incomes.
PM Shehbaz emphasized the government’s commitment to easing these groups’ difficulties during a high-level meeting on measures to reduce inflation’s impact on these income classes.
A relief program for rickshaw drivers and Motorcycle was proposed and approved during the meeting. The meeting also included discussions of various relief proposals.
Because the government is determined to protect low- and middle-income groups from inflation by taking all possible measures, the PM decided to implement the program and instructed the relevant officers to finalize and submit it Motorcycle and Rickshaw Owners Will Get Subsidized Petrol Under New Program .
In addition, PM Shehbaz approved a package to provide poor people with free flour during Ramadan. From Sha’ban to Ramadan, the premier said that 10.58 million Punjabi households would receive free flour.
The Prime Minister ordered the utilization of 8,500 utility stores and the establishment of additional 20,000 distribution points for the convenience of the general public in order to guarantee the efficient distribution of flour.
