Peshawar: Preparations for forming a political party of former leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf and former chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak have entered the final stages.

The sources, 4 leaders including Shah Farman and Shaukat Yousafzai are settling political matters with Pervez Khattak, while Mehmood Khan was contacted by Pervez Khattak but received a negative reply.

Sources say that before the decision of the new party  Pervez Khattak had made contacts to join the (N) League, but after the (N) League refused, the decision to form an alternative new party Pervez Khattak came out.

Sources say that new party Pervez Khattak had contacted 13 former members of the assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6 former members of the assembly of PTI apologized for going with Pervez Khattak, after which they also contacted Fawad Chaudhry related to the new party.

According to the sources, Fawad Chaudhry and Parvez Khattak are making contacts for the new party, while Pervez Khattak has also claimed to be in contact with 50 former MPs and MNAs.

It should be noted that the former defense minister Pervez Khattak announced his resignation from the presidency of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while holding a press conference.

He said that I had been keeping an eye on the nation’s political climate for several days, that I had already denounced the events of May 9, and that the political climate was extremely toxic and impossible to navigate.

Pervez Khattak was then given a show cause notice by PTI for inciting party members to quit, and upon receiving no response, he was kicked out of the organization.
