This year, in order to help and empower more than 1,550 female developers in five cities, Google has decided to hold seven Women Techmakers (WTM) events in Pakistan.
The seven events, which will include rallies, workshops, conferences, and networking opportunities, will run from March 8 to May. They will teach people about leadership, technical skills, and how to overcome unique obstacles that women in technology face.
This year, #DareToBe will be the IWD theme for WTM events.
The events will be hosted by local WTM ambassadors with assistance from Google, as stated in the press release.
